What are the minimum system requirements to access the course?
We recommend accessing the course using the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari on a PC or Mac. You can also access the course on Apple and Android tablets and other mobile devices using the same browsers.
I have a technical problem. How can I get help?
Please submit a support ticket using the CONTACT SUPPORT button. If possible, please include a screenshot of the error you receive, as this will help us investigate.
How do I update my profile picture or account information?
Select your name located at the top right of the screen and choose the profile link from the menu. From there, you can edit any details you might need to, and you can upload a photo. You can’t update your email address, as it might unlink other apps related to your email. If you need to update your email, you can submit a ticket here for assistance.
How do I start?
To start the first lesson, select the first week on the course home page. Then start completing each unit. As you complete the activities in each unit, the list of requirements at the end of the unit will be checked off. Once you have completed the entire unit, you will see it marked on the course home page.
How do I use the highlight feature?
To save key passages from videos and slideshows, select the Highlights button to the right of the video or slideshow. Use the “add” feature by hovering over the transcript and then selecting the + icon, or on your iPad, by tapping on a part of the transcript. This will save the preset content blocks. On your computer, you can save custom selections by clicking and dragging the part of the transcript you want to save. Add your own note in the field just below and select Save to add it to your Lesson Highlights.
To save content shared by other participants that you find particularly important or revealing, select the + sign next to your submission. Then select the part you want to highlight by clicking and dragging the buttons. For iPad and iPhone users, tap the transcription text, then drag the handles to make your selection. How do I earn Impact Points?
If Impact Points are part of your course, they are designed to promote engagement and thoughtful contribution. You will earn points for highlighting content and participating in class discussions. Also, highlighting your classmates’ comments, responses, and course contributions will earn you points, but you’ll earn even more points when they highlight yours, so you’ll be rewarded more for thoughtfully contributing.
Can I save the videos to watch later?
Unfortunately, no. However, any part of the video transcripts can be saved to your Highlights to keep after the course.
