About dates in IAS sessions

There are several date fields when setting up a session that have various functions.

  • Session Date (Optional):
    • Determines end of access to the Assessment Portal for participants and raters 7 days after the session date.
    • Archives the session in IAS after 7 days. Change search from Active to Archive or All to locate it.
    • Changes are made in Manage Session/Participant.
    • To extend access, change the session date to a future date.
  • Survey Completion Date (Mandatory):
    • This is the due date shown on participant and rater email invitations and reminders.
    • To extend the session, update the survey completion date for registered participants and save changes.
  • Reminder dates (Optional):
    • There are three fields to set dates to send reminders to all participants.
    • Consider the interval between invitation date and survey completion date when choosing reminder dates.
    • Participants will get reminders on these dates if they have not completed their own survey, or they do not have enough raters who have completed.
    • Participants may send reminders at any time.
